The National Criminal Record constitutes the central information system for the secure and reliable recording of final court decisions, contributing substantially to the proper functioning and support of the administration of Justice.
Through its new web portal, which operates as a modern and integrated digital hub, detailed information is provided regarding the competent Services and the procedures required for issuing a Criminal Record Certificate. Citizens, using their personal Taxisnet credentials, can submit their applications electronically, receive their Criminal Record Certificates promptly, and verify their validity. At the same time, authorized officials of public bodies, in cases provided for by the applicable legislation, have access to the aforementioned electronic services using Public Administration credentials.
In this way, procedures are significantly simplified, bureaucracy is reduced, and the speed, transparency, and quality of services provided to citizens and public administration are enhanced.

We would like to inform you that the updated user guidelines for the online Portal have been published.
The new version of the manual includes additional clarifications and answers to questions raised during the first day of operation of the new environment.
The objectives of this update are:

The new digital portal represents a key step towards the modernization of judicial services, offering faster, more secure, and more direct service to citizens and public authorities.
What the new portal offers:
Electronic Application & Issuance: Citizens can now apply for and receive a copy of their Criminal Record digitally using their Taxisnet credentials.
Integration with gov.gr
Bulk Application Functionality: For public services and organizations, allowing multiple citizens to be included in a single request.
Validity Verification: A dedicated feature for verifying the authenticity of digital copies through a unique identification code.
